"Favos de Mel" | Honey combs
I keep a taste of my childhood, a taste of honey from the red paper candy that my Great Grandmother kept in a glass jar, in the locker room. These honeycombs are the most reliable replica that I found for these sweets with the advantage of being a versatile dessert in small squares can be used to decorate a cake ground, and very, very easy to do!

-80 gr Manteiga

-80 gr Butter
|
-160 gr Açúcar

-160 gr Sugar
|
-80 gr Mel de Flores
|
-80 gr Honey of Flowers
|
-2 Colheres de Café de Bicarbonato de Sódio
|
-2 Tsp Baking Soda
|
|

PREPARAÇÃO
|
|
-Colocar
em lume brando, num tacho alto (pois a mistura irá fazer muita espuma), todos
os ingredientes excepto o bicarbonato |

-Quando
o açúcar estiver dissolvido e a manteiga derretida, aumentar o lume até
ferver durante 5 minutos, sem nunca mexer com colheres,
apenas agitar ligeiramente |

-Quando
estiver com uma cor dourada e alguma espuma, juntar o bicarbonato e desligar
o lume |

-Colocar
em seguida num tabuleiro forrado com papel vegetal e deixar arrefecer |

-Cortar
em pequenos pedaços e saborear! |

PREPARATION

-Put on low heat in a pot high
(because the mixture will make lots of foam), all the ingredients except the
baking
|
|
-When the sugar has dissolved and
the butter melted, increase the heat until boiling for 5 minutes, never mess
with spoons, stir only slightly
|
|
-When you have a golden color and some foam, add baking
soda and turn off the heat
|
|
-Place in a baking tray lined
with parchment paper and leave to cool
|
|
-Cut into small pieces and enjoy!
